Hidrógeno para la movilidad limpia - Clean mobility by Air Liquide

Hydrogen is an alternative to meet the challenge of clean transport

Hydrogen offers a concrete response to the challenges posed by sustainable mobility and local pollution in urban areas and contributes to improving air quality. Used in a fuel cell, hydrogen combines with oxygen from the air to produce electricity, emitting only water. It does not generate any pollution at the point of use: zero greenhouse gases, zero particles and zero noise.

Hydrogen

Revolutionising clean transportation

As a forerunner of hydrogen mobility , Air Liquide, through its Hydrogen Energy activity, has been using its industrial facilities, technologies and know-how for more than 20 years to develop applications for transport and, in particular, for hydrogen stations. .
Hydrogen-powered electric vehicles are equipped with fuel cells that produce electricity on board the vehicle from the hydrogen it carries. With a refueling time of less than 5 minutes, allowing a range of more than 600 km, hydrogen energy is particularly well suited to captive fleets: hydrogen buses , taxis, utility vehicles, forklifts, etc.

Thanks to hydrogen, Air Liquide supports the transition of the transport sector towards environmentally friendly mobility, in particular through its expertise in liquid hydrogen, which is particularly well suited to intensive mobility.

The most promising markets for intensive mobility are

  • Road freight transport, public transport, ships, and planes.
